Clerk 克拉克 - The 6th-Yr of medic student same as 4th yr in UM |
According to Prof Mark Lin, thr are 8 Medschools in Taiwan, producing 1000+ doctors per year. Among the 8 schools, only 3 are integrated universities (综合大学) - National University of Taipei, National Cheng Kung University and another one is private school (can`t rmb..=p) The integrated university means thr are other faculties except medicine. Their education system is 7yrs in total, but I`m not sure how the system goes. The most interesting fact that attract me is they have pretty small-group teaching. For exp, in NCKU, there is only 70+ students per batch, so thr is only 6 people in one posting. In orthopedic department, thr r 21 registered doctors with only 6 students. The students have a lot of chance to practise and have closer guidance from the doctors. Not to say abt the practical chance, the ward won`t b so crowded with docs and students as well...
